I wanted to share these pics with some of my fellow couponers (that don't live in TX), who don't really have any other option than to shop at Walmart. These are a couple examples of what you can do with price-matching & coupons...

These deals are happening this week, so you have until Saturday 8/20 if you want to try it at your store. They are a combo of price matching, coupons, and using your overage to pay for the rest of your items. Walmart's Ad Match Guarantee states that they will match any competitor's lowest advertised price. Their policy also states that you do NOT need to have the actual ad with you to do the price match, so if you don't get the flyers, don't worry.... Just tell them the price!

CVS Shopping Trip $0

We had to leave for a house showing today and had a few minutes to kill before we could return home. My plan was to pick up my FREE body wash, but the magic coupon machine also spit out a FREE coupon for the bandaids & caramello. Three for FREE! : ) Yay!

I had a hard time finding what I wanted this trip. There was supposed to be an ECB deal on chocolate bunnies, but I couldn't find them. And the marshmallow eggs I did eventually find, weren't marked as ECB items, but I took a chance and it worked. They were out of the Super Miracle Bubbles too, so I got a raincheck.

My store used to carry the travel size Visine, but again I couldn't find them. I scanned my card at the magic coupon machine and I didn't get any coupons, but I did get a $1 ECB! The machine is right by the makeup in my store, and I've had a feeling that there would be a makeup clearance coming on soon (ask Kim & Desiree!) so I decided to check it out. And viola~ some Covergirl products were marked 50% off, and L'Oreal and Maybelline were marked 75% off. I was totally unprepared since I only went there to pick up some Boost, but I managed to scrounge up a couple coupons. And no beeps!

There were tags on the L'Oreal products that said "Buy $10 and get $3 ECB." So I did. But, I did not get my ECB's. I realize now that those tags are for this coming week's sale (1/9). However, I've heard that on Saturday nights, you can get double deals (this week & next), and I've also heard you can call and tell them your ECB's didn't print and they will give them to you. Maybe the ECB didn't print because the items were on clearance. ? Who knows. But I did spend $10 worth, so I think I'll give them a call and see what they say. They just might be willing to pay me for my makeup. : )

Oh, and I had to get a raincheck for the Boost. Apparently, there are a lot of people in need of some chocolate nutrition!

Feeling good about this deal too. : ) I went there for milk & chips. But, I knew it was the end of the month and all the P&G coupons from Nov would be expiring, so I made a little stack of "maybe" coupons and it worked out for the better! Got all the soap unexpectedly. I needed a pouf so I was so happy to find those for a buck. (I don't even remember where I got the coupon, but I'll post a pic of it below.) My husband informed me he prefers Old Spice deodorant now (despite the 12 Right Guard he already has in the cabinet) so I just peeked to see what the price was, and they happened to be part of the P&G promo where you save $4 if you buy 4 P&G products, making them & the Secret just $1.29 each. I knew I had an Old Spice e-coupon but I wasn't sure what exactly it was for. I'm glad it came off, along with all the other e-coupons. I ended up paying .29 each for the deodorants. Anything for my hubby. ; ) My total should have been .50 less, but the Kroger chips coupon was giving the cashier trouble so she had to manually enter it, and she didn't double it. : (
