Cinnabons

I found this recipe online (following a pinterest trail of clicks looking for bread machine recipes), and decided to give it a whirl. Mmm, delish!

Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk (110 degrees F)
2 eggs, room temperature
1/3 cup margarine, melted
4 1/2 cups bread flour (I used all purpose)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar (I was out, so I used brown)
2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

Filling:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, softened

Frosting:
3oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
or if you prefer, Caramel:
 2/3 cup butter
 2 tablespoons corn syrup
 1 cup pecans or walnuts
 1 cup brown sugar
 2 tablespoons cream or milk

Directions:
1. Place items in bread machine as recommended by manufacturer. (I put wet ingredients first, then the dry ingredients on top.) Select dough cycle; press Start.

2. After dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.

3. Roll dough into a 16x21 rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup softened butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up dough (from the long side) and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls in lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. (If you are making caramel rolls: mix caramel ingredients together first, pour into bottom of 9x13 pan, then place rolls on top of caramel sauce to rise.) Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

4. Bake rolls until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. While rolls are baking, mix together cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread over warm rolls before serving.

Enjoy!
