Sweet and Sour Sauce

I needed sweet and sour sauce to go with my egg rolls and pancit, but I didn't want to run to the store, so I headed over to Cooks.com where I found this one with rave reviews. I liked it as well! Quick, easy, and everything was in my pantry. (I used the juice from pineapple chunks and ate the pineapple with our meal.)



Ingredients:
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. pineapple juice
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Combine ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer gently 5 minutes, remove from heat. Serve immediately or store in refrigerator and serve cold.
