I really didn't have anything to buy this trip, other than milk. Oh, and the butter. I'm about to make a french toast recipe that is the bomb! (Will post recipe later). We actually have tons of margarine tubs, but sometimes you just need some real butter. :) And since I didn't really "need" anything, and I've been trying to clean out my freezer, I decided to pick up a few kid friendly foods.... pizza, fruit, chips, cookies... while I had some extra room in the budget. My mother-in-law will be watching the kids for us soon, and I want her to have easy meal/snack selections. I was thinking this trip was a little spendy, but I didn't use many coupons. I've been trying to "let it go" a little compared to last year. Let me just say this past month or so of doing it has been kind of nice! Once I got through the withdrawal stages ; )
